These two small pieces are the result of an experiment with acrylic paint on paper which has been coated with an acrylic medium. This gives the paper a non-permeable coating which allows the medium to flow across the surface more easily. The result is a much looser, more abstract image than I would normally produce. I am very pleased with the result and look forward to applying this technique to different subjects. For a closer look at both of these and other works, visit my gallery page.
