Mown Barley with Crows

This piece was created in late summer after the barley in the field had been harvested. The crows are busy eating the grain left behind by the combine.

Shoreline Tentsmuir

This piece captures the dunes at Tentsmuir on the north coast of Fife. It is nearly dusk and the sky is a soft pink. The sea is just visible: a narrow line on the horizon. The grasses and shrubs create a textured foreground and reflect the dusky pink of the sky
