Reflecting by Loch Morlich

The finished piece, completed in what seems like record time after the marathon of Clouds over the Forth. I’ve made liberal use of a palette knife to apply the pigment to this painting, to create texture in the water and trees. The overall mood of the work is subdued with just a hint of brightness in the sky as is common in the Scottish Highlands.
